About Me
I am a practicing interior designer based in Washington DC, primarily focused on commercial workplace and restaurant design. Graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with BFA in Interior Design and minors in both Sustainable Design and Architectural History in 2018 I have a deep appreciation for design in all of its forms. I am a LEED Green Associate and an Associate IIDA member. Raised by two environmental scientists I grew up in a 200 year old farm house in Chester County Pennsylvania, surrounded by rolling hills, beautiful forests and cool rivers. This has given me a distinct appreciation for historical architecture and design, as well as the natural world. My love of Interior Design blossomed at a young age, imagining what my home would look like as an adult. As I grew I learned more about the profession and began taking classes in everything from figure drawing to glass blowing in order to have an appreciation for every art form possible. Eventually, I found myself applying and being accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design and began the next stage of my journey to being a fully fledged Interior Designer with a focus on sustainable design and adaptive reuse. I can now be found living and working in the DC metro area, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the nation’s capital.
